This is the game summary of my team, so my team go to second round:
Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 7000 at Johor Park today. Monsoon tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. The following players took the field: bin Hussain - Roslan, Lon-Ban, Chun-Yu, Ching-Chung - bin Darus, bin Abu Samah, Kwang-Sun, Chem-Tov - Pari, Gupta.
Pangsenam decided to use a 4-4-2 set up. They fielded: Digger - bin Abdul Manap, bin Aziz, Özdemir, bin Dahlan - bin Zainal, bin Sheikh Ibrahim, Curran, Mohamad - bin Dewan, bin Saad.The wings were the focus of most of Pangsenam's attacks on this day.
Some quick footwork on the left side of the field in the 2:th minute left Pangsenam's Mohd Zan bin Dewan completely free to score. 0 - 1 for the visitors. The referee showed Pangsenam's Aizal bin Saad the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge.
In the 6:th minute, Ameet Pari went down in a suspected penalty situation after a challenge from the visitors' right guard, but the referee, having a good line of sight, signalled to keep playing. Nor Zeland bin Aziz showed why he is feared on the counterattack, scoring for Pangsenam in the 7:th minute to make the score 0 - 2.
Confident in their lead, Pangsenam decided to play a more defensive game at this point. Monsoon's Huie Ching-Chung got himself booked for a foul. Zabidi Mohamad increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley shot away on a pass from the right. 0 - 3.
22 minutes into the game, Pangsenam were awarded a penalty and Zabidi Mohamad was able to increase the visitors' lead to 0 - 4 rolling the ball in by the right post.
In the 24:th minute, a phenomenal play on the left side freed Nor Zeland bin Aziz, of Pangsenam, to dash through and score another goal for the visitors.
The score was then 0 - 5. Halftime score was 0 - 5. Pangsenam claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 60 percent.
Some fine manoeuvring on the left led to a Pangsenam goal in the 46:th minute, making it 0 - 6. Aizal bin Saad was noted down as the scorer.
In the 53:th minute, Pangsenam's Aizal bin Saad burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 7.
67 minutes into the game, Matthew Curran had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came Ron Blonk. A thrilling play through the middle in the 79:th minute gave Pangsenam's Ahamat bin Abdul Manap a chance to increase the lead, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 8. T
he home side worked their way through the middle and almost got one back when Mohd Satar bin Abu Samah tried to sneak the ball past the keeper. Semi Digger was too alert for that!
The forty-five minutes were dominated by Pangsenam, with an impressive 59 percent possession of the ball.The most dominating Monsoon player was without a doubt Dharmpal Gupta. On the other hand, Seow Chem-Tov's play was disheartening. Pangsenam's top performer was clearly Aizal bin Saad. On the other hand, Mohd Zan bin Dewan's play was disheartening. The match ends 0 - 8.
